A Soothing Escape

As the warm water cascaded down his back, Jack couldn't help but let out a contented sigh. He was finally able to relax and unwind after a long day of work. He closed his eyes, letting the steam envelop him, and began to hum a gentle tune. Suddenly, he was startled by a small voice calling out his name. \Daddy, Daddy!\ Jack's eyes snapped open to find his 6-year-old daughter, Lily, standing in the doorway of the bathroom, her big brown eyes wide with excitement. \Ahh, sweetie! What are you doing in here?\ Jack asked, trying to cover himself with a towel. Jack's heart melted as he took the card from his little girl. \Oh, Lily, this is the best surprise ever! What's it say?\ He opened the card, and his eyes scanned the scribbled words. \'Daddy, you're the best in the whole world!' Oh, kiddo, that means the world to me.\ Jack hugged Lily tightly, feeling grateful for the special bond they shared.
